Zoe Brake has had a fruitful life at such a young age; serving in the Royal New Zealand Navy, representing New Zealand for golf and attending University in America, and now she works a day job along with owning her own clothing brand. Throughout her life however, one thing she has always found herself doing is art. Now in her 30’s, she finds inspiration for her art from her love of hunting, fishing, the rural lifestyle and the outdoors. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts - Painting and Drawing and a minor in Art History from The Ohio State University in America. 

Since highschool, Zoe has always had an interest in the values of a painting through the use of black and white. She now combines this with the deep interest of realistic portraiture (both animals and people) and the challenge of capturing the eyes and presence of the subject to create masterful works of art which she then frames herself.
